About This Project
Full cedar shake replacement on a 1912 heritage home in Old Garneau. The City of Edmonton's heritage designation required maintaining the original shake aesthetic. We sourced #1 Blue Label Western Red Cedar and installed with proper spacing and underlayment for Edmonton's climate. The decking was in poor condition and required significant repair before new materials could go down.
